This game is a short(sub 10 minute) story game. Whilst playing you might notice there is not pause button, that is intentional to show that you cannot leave, there is no solution. The 2 colors resemble my grandpa being red green colorblind and the vignette represents my grandpa not being able to see out of the left side of both eyes. 

This game is meant to show people what happened to my grandpa. This game is not for spreading awareness because I do not yet know the cause of his confusion due to it happening a few days after the surgery(his surgery was a few weeks ago and we are currently in the process of trying to find out what is wrong and trying possible fixes). It is more of a dump game to get some emotions out and a kind of memorial. 

With the second half of the game where everything is mixed up you might be confused, which is good! I want you to feel like he feels(in a confused state coming up with random things).

I was the one who did the art, music, and programming for the game. I am not good at pixel art but I did not have enough time to make and scan traditional art. I also don’t know how to make music so I plucked some strings on a guitar while holding a g cord and add some stuff onto it to make it sound decent. This game can be better, but due to lack of time I had to take my losses and keep it simple. This is by far the most polished project I have made. I had to watch a TON of tutorials on how to do stuff due to being a beginner dev.  My last project I did was about a year ago I think, might have been a few months but it feels like it’s been such a long time. I will hopefully turn this into a better game after the game jam is over. Hopefully this will teach me enough to go on and create much better games in the future with all I learned(I learned so much in such a short period of time).

This game is currently on hold due to it being a game jam game and more of a learning experience. I might come back to it in the future but there are no guarantees.

Condensed:

The game currently is a sort of prototype. It is very short as of writing this(sub 20 minutes). It is a game about what has happened to my grandpa after surgery. I plan on adding more content and making some better art in the future.
